2025-2026 Teaching Calendar
The Sparrow considers the below dates as non-lesson days. No lessons will take place, nor will a make up lesson be required. Both winter and spring breaks align with the Yorkville School District calendar.
- Labor Day, Monday, September 1
- Tuesday-Friday of Thanksgiving Week, November 25-28
- Winter Break: Monday, December 22 – Friday, January 2
- Spring Break: Monday, March 30 – Friday, April 3
- Good Friday: April 3 *coincides with Spring Break
- Memorial Day, Monday, May 25
- Independence Day Week: Monday, June 29 – Friday, July 3
Summer Exemptions
The Sparrow allots students two canceled lessons from Memorial Day to Labor Day, due to vacation, that does not require a make up lesson. Invoices will be adjusted to reflect those submitted exemptions.
Your Sparrow instructor will submit any personal summer vacation days to you by May 15th. You will receive a make up credit at that time.
