Paige dropped by my humble studio today to get a couple of head shots taken for a profile. We had a really good time and she was a natural model, just check out her eyes! This session also marks the first time I got to use my new studio lights which were purchased during our recent Christmas trip to DC.

Sparrow House Studios has moved to Vancouver! There are quite a few posts that need to be made so please be patient as we settle down, unpack and reorientate.
MARA
A few months ago Mara asked me to help her get some head shots done. She’s in NY’s Broadway at the moment – so proud of her! it was my first time doing anything like this. The set up is quite a bit of work and a lot of lighting tests but I’m very pleased with these photos and I wouldn’t mind taking more head shot photos in the future.

My, my, how quickly do babies grow! Katherine is now one and she had a beautiful birthday filled with spoonfuls of cake, plenty of gifts and a new pair of pink shoes :)

WING+LOUIS, a sneak peek
Today was a really dreary, rainy day for Wing and Louis’ engagement shoot. But they were real troopers and we managed to get some shots before we called it a day. More photos to come when we get together for our replacement shoot, hopefully it won’t be raining.
